Caroline Hosey
Principal
Caroline opened Poppins Montessori & After Schools club in 2002 Caroline holds a BA from in Early Childhood Studies from the London Metropolitan University.

She believes in creating a rich and stimulating experience for all children to foster their love of learning, so that they can reach their full potential and become confident and competent learners. By providing a learning environment in a home setting, children feel safe and secure and can develop their personal, social and emotional needs.
​
One of Caroline’s many hobbies is singing and drama and this comes in very handy in the Montessori classroom!
Deirdre Whelan
Montessori Teacher
Deirdre began working in Poppins Montessori in January 2008 having worked previously in the banking sector. Deirdre adopts a calm, gentle and kind approach towards the children in her care, whilst helping each child to reach his/her development potential here at Poppins.

Deirdre holds a diploma in Montessori Teaching with first class distinction from Portobello College. She also holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies and Postgraduate Degree in Finance.
Pauline Farrell
Montessori Teacher
Pauline joined our Montessori family in 2014. Pauline was a florist for many years before training to be a Montessori Teacher. She brings great artistic flair and fun to our team.

Pauline graduated from the College of Progressive Education in 2014 gaining a 1st Class Honour in Early Childhood Care and Education with Montessori.
Mary Skelly
Afterschool Supervisor
Mary holds a Level 5 qualification in Childcare. She has been a constant and reassuring presence in our Afterschool Service since 2009. Mary has lots of experience working with children and she also worked in our Montessori room for a number of years.

Mary has 3 grown up sons and is also a very proud Grandmother!
Pauline Pacitti
Afterschool Assistant
Pauline is a part of our Afterschool Team.
Pauline holds a Stage 1 National Diploma in Humanities in Montessori Education (2000) from St Nicholas Montessori College. and has worked as a Montessori teacher for over 19 years.
She also holds a Fetac Level 5 Certificate in Childcare (2012)
